SEA 1 – What is SEA?

In our previous videos, we’ve talked about SEO and organic traffic, but we did not yet talk about search engine advertising, or SEA. SEA is the process of bidding search keyword to place text ads at the top of the search engine results pages. The process is pretty simple:

-First, you need to figure out what keywords related to your industry, services, or products are your targets searching for the most.

-Then you can write text ads that answer these search queries

-The third step is that you set a budget that you’d like for the maximum bid on each keyword

-Finally, you launch the ad and optimize over time.

Beware! Each ad set should have no more than 5 keywords, and each ad set should have its own landing page containing each one of the words. Sometimes you can go as low as 1 keyword per ad set and it’s OK.

It may seem a bit simple on paper, but it’s a little more technical in real life, so in the next few videos, we’re going to walk you through the process step by step.
